The National Television came to film the milking parlour to broadcast it for the news. This was the first milkingparlour in the country.

First the building of the milkpit. Kanters B.V. delivered all drawings of the the pit and walls.

The side of the walls are tiled in this barn.

Then we start with the iron frame. One of the most important things. All dimensions must exactly match.

The customer has chosen for milkjars. The milk comes first in a milkjar before it go's to the milkcoolertank. You can see how many liters each cow has given. This is very important. A farmer needs to know his cows! Here you can see the brackets for the milkjars.

The iron frame is done. The first milkjars are in the pit.

Also the milk and vacuum line's are connected.

Everything is explained to the staff. Also a very important thing. In the future, they won't have service in a few hours.

Both sides are finished. It is a double 4 herring bone milking parlour. Everything is used. Of course all the rubbers are new. Also shipped from Holland to The Gambia.

The milkendreceiver. The milk is coming in here before it is pumped to the milkcooler tank. It also get's filterd.

We advised the customer to take two vaccumpumps. One is running the even weeks, and the second is running the odd weeks. This makes sure that you always can go on with the milking proces.

The used milking parlour is finished.

We also delivered the milkcooler tank for the customer. It is a Mueller O-500.

The customer is making his own yoghurt and pasteurized milk. We also delivered the milkcooler tank for this factory.

During the open day there was a lot of interested people. This is the first automatic milking parlour in The Gambia!!!

The television came to film it. The parlour is running three times a day without any problems. Kanters B.V. is also doing the maintenance on the used milking parlour.

In The Gambia we transport and installed a 2x4 Herringbone Alfa Laval Milking Parlour. It was the first automatic milking parlour in the whole country.
